The use of laparoscopic devices in hydatidectomy is caused by the severity of the operative trauma and prolonged duration of rehabilitation in traditional operations. In the clinic of pediatric surgery of the Saratov state medical university 49 hydatidectomies in cases of hydatid cysts of the liver using the traditional laparotomic and laparoscopic approaches in patients aged 4-15 were performed.
