Individual and typological morphogeometric features of the proximal of femoral bone

Year: 2010, volume 6 Issue: №1 Pages: 036-039
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: V.N. Nikolenko, О.А. Fomicheva, R.S. Zhmurko, N.M. Yakovlev, O.S. Bessonova, S.V. Pavlov
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The aim of this study was to examine the relationship between the structure of the proximal femur and its individual anatomical variability, namely the size of the femoral neck and the angle of torsion. These results suggest that the mor-phogeometry of the femur (the femoral neck axis length and width of the neck) may influence on the risk of fractures of the femoral neck in people of different body type

Rehabilitation of Patients with Urological Complications of Radical Surgery on Pelvic Organs

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №4 Pages: 619-622
Heading: Urology Article type: Original article
Authors: V.N. Pavlov, A.R. Zagitov, A.A. Kazikhinurov, A.O. Papoyan, Sh. S. Allakhverdiev
Organization: Bashkir State Medical University of the Russian Health Care, Bashkir Republican Clinical Hospital
Summary:

One of the commonest urological complications of radical pelvic surgery is enuresis which effects patients quality of life and causes severe physical and moral sufferings. The operational methods of enuresis treatment are unproductive and often lead to recurring and more complicated surgical interventions. All this provides research and development of new non-invasive methods of treatment and rehabilitation of patients with enuresis. Treatment of enuresis after radical operations includes a system of gymnastic exercises for pelvic floor muscles and health resort factors and results in reduction of symptoms and opens new ways of rehabilitation of this category of patients.

Individual And Typical Anatomical Variability Of Femoral Bone Structure And Morphology Of Nutrient Foramen

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №4 Pages: 485-488
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: V.N. Nikolenko, O.A. Fomicheva, R.S. Zhmurko, N.M. Yakovlev, O.S. Bessonova, S.V. Pavlov
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

45 morphometric parameters of femoral bones (n=45) have been studied. Their 3 shape variants have been picked out according to thickness-prolixity index. The peculiarities of entry angle of diaphysial artery in connection with the bone shape have been revealed. Zones of the most and the least concentration of nutrient foramen have been determined
