Assessment of health risk level is the major methodological approach for hygienic monitoring planning, for cause-effect basis of interrelation between environmental pollution and health. Pollution with heavy metals (cadmium, nickel) of Zavodskoy district in Saratov results in increasing risk and this requires development of health protection ways and approaches

Results of researches specify, that among children using potable water of excessive hardness and mineralization, suffering from chronic gastritis and gastroduodenitis, heavier course of disease is observed.
