Purpose: to study the role of the bacterial spectrum of urine in the development and clinical course of staghorn calculi nephrolithiasis. Patients and Methods. From 2008 to 2010 in the urological department of Rostov State Medical University urine culture was assessed in 86 patients with staghorn calculi. Mean age was 50,4±5,9 (25-73) years. Results: Most of the patients with staghorn calculus (89,5%) have microbial contamination of urine, which has a high correlation with leucocituria, and the spectrum of microorganisms often has the various bacterial associations, which caused more infection complications during treatment. Aim: The article considers the results of research of the vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) in blood serum in patients with kidney and bladder tumors after surgical intervention. Materials and methods: The total of investigated patients consisted of 75 primary patients with kidney cancer (stages pT1-pT3N0M0), 75 patients with non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), stages pTa-1NxMoG1-3, 25 patients with cysts of kidneys and 30 healthy patients. Results of research of content of VEGF in patients with kidney cancer and NMIBC in the postoperative period confirmed the role of angiogenesis processes both in the development of tumoral tissue and relapses of disease. Conclusion: Investigations of VEGF in blood serum may be additional method of revealing kidney cancer and NMIBC after surgical treatment of relapses of disease and may influence on the duration of recurrence-free period

The research goal is to study and analyze the relationship between the level of intrauterine development retardation and urine dynamics indicators of lower urinary tract of a fetus with the help of ultrasonic examination. The urinary function of 89 fetuses was under study. Methods of prenatal ultrasonic cystometry and urofluometry were used to examine the urinary function of a fetus. Statistical software package (Statgraphics 6.0) was used for the statistical analyses of the results. The study has shown that decrease in bladder capacity, increase in residual urine volume and frequent urination are usually the indicators of intrauterine development retardation. The third-degree of intrauterine development retardation is characterized by decrease in diuresis and increase in duration of micturition cycle according to gestational norm

The diagnostic significance of molecular markers was evaluated by immunohistochemical research of surgical and biopsy material of 106 patients with diseases of bladder and 57 patients with diseases of prostate. The aim of this study was the estimation of clinical importance markers of renal damage at surgical treatment of nephrolithiasis. We studied results of operations in 110 patients with nephrolithiasis. The study presents new candidates for biochemical markers of acute kidney injury and renal interstitial fibrosis, with potentially high sensitivity and specificity. In this study were measured the concentrations of these biomarkers in urine. We suggested, that increased concentrations molecular mediators of renal damage (L2, IL-18) and interstitial fibrosis (MCP-1, TGFp, IGF1) in the patients with nephrophibrosis and strongetubulointerstitial injury, saved long-time period after operation, has been shown of progression chronic kidney disease

60 women were examined with the diagnosis of chronic cystitis in exacerbation period. Cystoscopy with biopsy of urinary bladder mucous was made on the first day and the tenth day. The patients were examined by means of the battery of psychometric and psychological methods. Women were divided into two equal groups. The first group took Furamag, the second group - Furamag and Adaptol. The patients complained of dysuria on the first day There was moderate leukocyturia in the urinalysis. Intensive leukocytic infiltration was determined in the biopsy of urinary bladder mucous. In assessing psychic status in patients, the tendency to social isolation was determined in both groups for the first day Laboratory findings were normalized on the tenth day; the dysuria was cropped in both groups in 100 %. Leukocytic infiltration in the biopsy of urinary bladder mucous was changed by lymphocytic one, and proliferative processes were increased. In the second group of patients more rapid relief of anxiety and depressive disorders was noted
