Heading: Forensic medicine Article type: Original article
Authors: Efimov А.А., Savenkova E.N.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Objective: differentiation of age-dependence indices of aorta, carotid, brachial, femoral arteries and drawing the mathematical model for forensic age determinations on their basis. Material and methods. Objects were: aorta, fragments of right and left carotid, brachial and femoral arteries taken in a complex of 186 male and female corpses, died at the age of 17-94. Research methods consisted of organometrical, histological, micrometrical, correlative and regressive analysis. The Results. Correlative and regressive analysis of 35 indicators of aorta, carotid, brachial and femoral arteries was conducted. All material was divided into figures with a significant correlation with age and performance of age-independent. The mathematical model was composed for calculation of age. Conclusion. Indicated involution of arterial wall and compiled on the basis of a mathematical model for determination the age could be taken as the basis for forensic method of age determination.

Morphological changes in liver of laboratory animals at prolonged intake of gold nanoparticles

Year: 2014, volume 10 Issue: №2 Pages: 250-256
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: Pakhomy S.S., Bucharskaya А.В., Navolokin N.A., Maslyakova G.N., Zlobina O.V., Khlebtsov N.G., Khlebtsov B.N., Bogatyrev V.A.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Aim: to evaluate the severity of morphological changes in the liver of laboratory animals with prolonged intake of pegilated gold nanoparticles of different sizes from 2 to 50 nm. Material and methods. The experiment was performed on 240 albino rats divided into 4 groups. The animals of experimental groups were orally administered the gold nanoparticles in a specific pattern. Results. Morphological changes in liver depend on the particle size and the duration of administration. Developing pathological changes in the liver are reversible, as evidenced by the gradual recovery of the liver structure 14 days after administration. Conclusion. The most significant changes in the liver were found in the experimental groups with a 30-day administration of 2 and 50 nm gold nanoparticles that show the size-dependent nature of their impact.

Morphological changes in the organs of laboratory animals during the prolonged oral administration of gold nanoparticles

Year: 2013, volume 9 Issue: №2 Pages: 208-213
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: Maslyakova G.N., Pakhomiy S. S., Bucharskaya А.В., Zlobina O.V., Navolokin N.A., Ponukalin A.N., Khlebtsov N.B., Khlebtsov B.N., Bogatyrev V.A.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Институт биохимии и физиологии растений и микроорганизмов РАН
Summary:

The purpose of the article is to assess the severity of the morphological changes in the internal organs of laboratory animals with prolonged oral administration of gold nanoparticles of different sizes. Material and methods: The experiment was carried out on 40 albino rats which were divided into 4 groups. Animals of the experimental group received oral gold nanoparticles by the appropriate scheme. Results: At comparing the morphological changes in the internal organs of laboratory animals it was established that the introduction of gold nanoparticles of different sizes leads to the same type of disturbances of morphological structure, the gold nanoparticles of 1-3 and 50 nm cause the most expressive changes. Conclusion: The most significant morphological modifications in the internal organs were caused by gold nanoparticles of 1-3 and 50 nm. It points out to the size-dependence of the effect of gold nanoparticles.

FEATURES OF SKIN PATHOMORPHOLOGY IN THE AREA OF POSTOPERATIV WOUND IN THE PATIENTS WITH OBESITY

Year: 2006, volume 2 Issue: №3 Pages: 8-11
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: G.A. Bluvshteyn, G.N. Maslyakova, A.V. Horoshkevich
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The results of treatment of 180 patients with various diseases of organs of abdominal cavity and associated obesity were studying. Anthropometry with calculation of Body Mass Index (BMI) has performed in all patients. 527 histological preparations of skin and subcutaneous tissue from 56 patients were studying. In patients with associated obesity in postoperative period wound complications was most frequently (30.5%). Morphological features of structure of skin and subcutaneous tissue, which are influenced on wound healing and may be the predisposed factors for the development of wound complications in the conditions of tissue compression, has determined in the patients with associated obesity.

Year: 2006, volume 2 Issue: №2 Pages: 17-20
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: Yu.A. Gladilin, V.N. Nikolenko, O.A. Fomkina
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Outer diameter and of intracranial parts opening were studied on native specimens of head brain in people at the age from 21 to 90. Proofs resilient properties were calculated with Means-Muller formula. It was founded that proofs size of intracranial parts resilient properties was 0.36, that is characteristic for muscle type arteries. It is equal in men and women and characterizes by existence of dissymmetry without clean left-right purposefulness.

MORPHOLOGY OF FETAL AND NEONATE’S OVARIES BORN FROM MOTHERS WITH NORMAL AND PATHOLOGICAL COURSE OF PREGNANCY

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №3 Pages: 31-34
Heading: Macro- and Micromorphology Article type: Original article
Authors: Maslyakova G.N., Medvedeva A.V.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Growth, maturation and atresia of follicles in fetal ovaries born from women with a normal course of pregnancy are slightly marked (it is estimated as a normoplastic ovaries). In infections diseases of mother during pregnancy and hard forms of gestosis, the number of growing and maturating follicles in the ovaries becomes considerably less (hypoplastic ovaries). The number of atresial follicles increases in the ovaries of fetuses and neonates born from women with light forms of gestosis and placental failure (hyperplastic ovaries).
