Dependence of hemostasis indices on external environment nemperature in women with physiological pregnancy accompanied by limitation of liquid intake

Year: 2011, volume 7 Issue: №4 Pages: 801-804
Heading: Obstetrics and Gynecology Article type: Original article
Authors: Arkhipov I.V., Marshalov D.V., Markov A.L., Gurianova N.S., Zhulina N.V.
Organization: Saratov State Medical University, Municipal Center of Clinical Hemostasiology and Transfusiology Chief laboratory, Saratov Emergency Aid Station
Summary:

The research goal was to study the influence of extremely high temperatures on the hemostasis indices in patients with uncomplicated pregnancies with the concomitant limitation of liquid intake. The research results of hemostasis of pregnant women being hospitalized during the period of spring and summer in 2010 have been analyzed. The differences in the level of hypercoagulation changes of hemostasis in summer and spring have been found to be insignificant. In the platelet link hemostasis in summer of 2010, as compared to the spring, the increase of platelet aggregation and amount has been observed, with the exception of the third trimester, which is marked by the decrease of platelet amount. Hot seasons and liquid intake limitations make additional demands on hemostasis adaptive capacity, increasing the risk of thrombohemorrhagic complications

Knowledge level estimation of medical workers participating in rendering of emergency medical aid to children at a pre-hospital stage

Summary:

Purpose: Estimation of qualifying preparation of the doctors participating in rendering of emergency medical aid to children.
Material: On the basis of the developed test cards the analysis of doctors' knowledge level of the first help on the basic questions of emergency medicine is carried out. 120 doctors are interrogated. Results compared depending on age, work experience and presence of a qualifying professional category.
Results: As a whole answers of respondents were distributed as follows: unsatisfactorily - 2,6 %; satisfactorily - 7,9 %; well - 18,4 %; perfectly - 71,1 %. Distinctions in a dale of right answers on separate sections of knowledge depending on the experience and a qualifying professional category are established.
The conclusion: The weakest places in preparation of experts of the first help on which it is necessary to pay special attention in courses of postdegree preparation are revealed

PROPHYLACTIC MANAGEMENT OF FRESH-FROZEN PLASMA

Year: 2008, volume 4 Issue: №3 Pages: 44-46
Heading: Anaesthesiology and Reanimatology Article type: Original article
Authors: I.V. Arkhipov, A.L. Markov, N.V.Ghulina, L.A. Ponomareva
Organization: Local First Aid Station of MMI, Saratov Emergency Station, Saratov City Clinical Hospital №1 named after Yu.Ya. Gordeev
Summary:

Prophylactic management of small doses of fresh-frozen plasma to women in the case when the hemorrhage is less than 20 % of circulating blood volume and the adaptable physiologic changes of hemostasis have been already formed, does not change its coagulative potential. The optimization of an individual program of transfusion therapy should be based on the results of screening and monitoring of hemostasis state.
