Summary:

Infectious complications in oncologic patients often occur as a result of antitumor therapy that demands the prescription of antimicrobic preparations. one of the main infectious agents in oncology is Staphylococci and Escherichia coli. The aim of this work is to study doxorubicine and ceftriaxon influence on dynamics of population development of strains of Staphylococcus aureus, doxorubicine and amikacine - on dynamics of population development of strains of Escherichia coli. Five strains of each type (one-standard and four-clinical) cultivated in meatpeptone broth, which contains non-inhibitory concentrations of experimental preparations. in any period of time after the sowing the measurement of optical density of growing cultures has been carried out. it has been determined, that doxorubicine in non-inhibitory concentrations increases overwhelming effect of these antibiotics on dynamics of population development of experimental strains

Summary:

Action of preparations is investigated: 2-benzoil-3,5-biphenil-selenophen(compaundl), l,5-bi-(2,4-bioxyphenil)-3-selenopentan(compaund2) and l,5-bi-(n-chlorphenil)-3-selenopentan-l,5(eompaund3) on microorganisms allocated from urological patients. Suppression of bacterial growth is revealed. At action by the given preparations on Escherichia coli it is revealed, that the preparation compaund3 considerably suppresses growth of microbic cells Escherichia coli in comparison with preparations of the compaundl and compaund2. At action on Klebsiella oxytoca, it is revealed, that the given preparations intensively slow down, growth of microbic cells, and linear dependence on a doze of preparations is observed.

Summary:

It has been studied of an alloy nanobody of copper, zinc and iron on E. coli and Ps. aeruginosa, allocated from sicks by urological diseases. The number of colonies of the microorganisms which have been grown on cups with various concentration nanobody of metals in suspension, and change of parameters of biochemical activity of bacteria was considered. The expressed antibacterial action investigated nanobody on E.coli and Ps. aeruginosa has been as a result revealed.

Summary:

Antimicrobial activity of new heterocyclic compounds on standart strains grampositive Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 29213 and gramnegative – Esherichia coli ATCC 25992 (M-17) Proteus mirabilis 20 was study/
Compounds №6 and №7 have shown high overwhelming action (minimum inhibitory concentration – MIC 39,58 +/- 6,8mkg/ml accordingly. This lower exceeds MIC of ceftrixon in two times ( MIC 39,58+/- 6,8 mkg/ml) and is near to MIC of furamag (11,51/-0,99 mkg/ml).
Compounds №6 activity on methicillinsesitive strains Staphylococcus aureus was two times higher (MIC 12,4 /- 4,34) than on methicillinstable strains Staphylococcus auerus (MIC 25,6+/- 5,02 mkg/ml). Antimicrobial action of compound №7 was the same both on methicillinstable strains (MIC 17,3+/-1,77 mkg/ml) and on methicillinsensitive strains (MIC 12,53+/-3,78 mkg/ml) Staphylococcus aureus. The same regularity was mark for chemical furamag. Activity of chemical ceftriaxon on methicillinstable strains Staphylococcus aureus was greatly lower.

Changing of Bacteria Catalase Activity Under the Influence of Electro-Magnetic Radiation on a Frequency of Nitric Oxide Absorption and Radiation Molecular Spectrum

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №3 Pages: 321-323
Heading: Microbiology Article type: Original article
Authors: E.A. Pronina, G.M. Shub, I.G Shvidenko
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

The dynamics of catalase activity degree changing in Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli and Pseudomonas aeruginosa is described under the influence of electro-magnetic radiation on a frequency of nitric oxide absorption and radiation molecular spectrum.
The panoramic spectrometric measuring complex, developed in Central Scientific Research Institute of measuring equipment Public corporation, Saratov, was used while carrying out the research. Electromagnetic vibrations of extremely high frequencies were stimulated in this complex imitating the structure of nitric oxide absorption and radiation molecular spectrum. The growth of activity of the mentioned enzyme of the strains under research was detected. The most significant changes were observed under 60-minutes exposure.

Interaction of Big Celandine Extract and Plasmid DNA, Excreted From the Clinical Strain Escherichia Coli

Year: 2009, volume 5 Issue: №3 Pages: 310-312

Summary:

Search for compounds which possess antibacterial activity and have an effect on plasmid DNA, is one more of the important problems of applied medicine. Natural substances are the most desirable candidates for this role.
Plasmid DNA excretion was carried out from the strain Echerihiacoli, derived from patient N., who suffered from chronic pyelonephritis, in the bacteriological laboratory of the Regional clinical hospital of Saratov according to the modified method Birnboim and Doli. The calculation of alkaloid concentration was made, e.g. Sanguinarin and Cheler-etrin contained in celandine extract.
The devised method has been tested on five celandine tincture samples, stored for the research of the stability of the content of alkaloids and other quality factors of the given preparation. In so doing the content of the alkaloid sum in tincture changes within the limits of 1 %. Abatement of plasmid DNA concentration after the cell treatment by celandine extract is revealed.

INFLUENCE OF DOXORUBICIN ON ADHESIVE PROPERTIES OF E.COLI

Year: 2008, volume 4 Issue: №3 Pages: 33-36
Heading: Microbiology Article type: Original article
Authors: O.G. Shapoval
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Influence ofantineoplastic drug doxorubicin and amikacin, the aminoglycoside family on adhesive activity of Escherichia coli was studied. Antimicrobialactivity(minimum inhibitory concentration-MIC) ofboth drugs against experimental strains using serial two-fold dilution method was determined. Susceptibility of E.coli to amikacin in the presence of Sand j MIC doxorubicin was studied. After 10 passages in beef-extract broth with constant and increasing doxorubicin concentrations in the presence of Sand j MIC doxorubicin, the adhesive activity of initial and passage variants according to theirability to absorb human erythrocytes 1(0) Rh+ was determined. Itwas observed that experimental strains were susceptible to amikacin (MIC 1,5-6,2 mkg/ml) butwere resistantto doxorubicin (MIC 1000 mkg/ml). Subinhibitory concentrations of this cytostatic (S and j MIC) raised the sensitivity of experimental strains to amikacin and differently effected on adhesive activity of passage variants of E.coli.
