Proposals on harmonization of the list of the diseases connected with radiation effects as the result of the accident on the CNPP

The lists of the diseases connected with radiation effects existing now at the level not only Russia and Belarus, but also at the Union State in general can be enhanced using cumulative scientific data. There are possible variants, as exceptions in the list of separate nosologies, reasons of which are rather caused not by radiation factors, and as introduction of diseases which radiation nature is confirmed by long-term researches. The conducted researches showed that creation of the single list of diseases within the Union State is a really question solving of which will demand not only significant scientific researches, but also serious legislative initiatives.

1. The resolution of the Government of the Russian Federation from 11/4/2004 No. 592 "About the approval of the list diseases, emergence or an aggravation of which is caused by influence radiation owing to accident on the CNPP, accident in 1957 on PO 'Mayak' and dumpings of radioactive waste into the Techa River"
2. The order of the Ministry of Health and Social Development of the Russian Federation from 4/27/2012 No. 417n "About the approval of the list of occupational diseases"
3. Act of the Russian Federation of 15.05.1991 N 1244-1 "About social protection of the citizens who underwent to impact of radiation owing to catastrophic crash on the Chernobyl NPP" (with changes and additions)
4. Federal law of 26.11.1998 N 175-FL "About social protection of citizens The Russian Federation, affected by radiation owing to accident of 1957 to year at "Mayak" production association and dumpings of radioactive waste in the Techa River" (with changes and additions)
5. The resolution of the Ministry of Health of Republic of Belarus from 6/26/2009 No.73 "About the approval of the list of diseases which developing is connected with direct radiactive effects, list of diseases, emergence which it can be connected with accident on the Chernobyl NPP, others radiation accidents"
