Role of wax model museums in the teaching of dermatovenerology at medical universities of Russia and Europe

Summary:

The article shows the history and the significance of use of wax masks in the process of visual teaching of dermatology and venereology for students of medical universities in Europe and Russia in the XIX-XX centuries.
