COMPUTER-TOMOGRAPHICAL FEATURES OF CRANIOCEREBRAL TRAUMA WITH DIFFERENT GENESIS

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №3 Pages: 73-75
Heading: Neurology Article type: Original article
Authors: M.V. Sagel, I.I. Sholomov, V.V. Mashin, R.K.
Organization: Ulyanovsk State University, Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Analysis of the results of computer tomography (CT) of 247 patients with craniocerebral and mine-explosive trauma with different degree of damage in acute and distant period was provided. Authors revealed, that in acute period of craniocerebral trauma CT may detect different kinds of zones of concussion damage including bilateral damage. Atrophic process, mostly diffusive, may develop in distant period. Both ventricular system as well as subarachnoid space may be involved. Mostly severe atrophic cerebral changes are revealed due to third and fourth types of focal concussion damage of the brain. Mine-explosive damage of the brain is not visualized by CT-scanning in acute period. Generalized type of posttraumatic cerebral atrophy is revealed in patients with disease in distant period.

Summary:

The complex clinical and laboratory researches conducted in groups of the pregnant women with mild case of gestosis, middle serious preeclampsia and with heavys everity of gestosis. Anticoagulation and fibrinolytic activity of a wall of vessels on a background of creation of a short-lived ischemia were examined. Disturbance of a coagulative potential of a blood are actuated development endothelial dysfunction in groups of the pregnant women with middle serious preeclampsia and with heavy severity of gestosis.

THE ISSUE OF PREGNANCY AND DELIVERY WITH PRENATAL INFECTION OF THE FETUS, HEALTH STATUS OF BABIES ON THE FIRST YEARS OF LIFE

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №3 Pages: 57-60
Heading: Obstetrics and Gynecology Article type: Original article
Authors: L.V. Vasilenko, I.A. Uts, S.A. Stepanov, T.L. Vasilenko
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Pregnancy and delivery of 27 women with prenatal infection of the fetus, neonatal period of the babies with prenatal pneumonia, health status of up to 2 children were researched in retrospect. Women with inflammation of the genitals (78,6%) and extragenital pathology of the inflammatory genesis (36,3%) had prenatal infection of the fetus. In the early neonatal period every baby had cerebral ischemia, every third child had haemorrhages in different cerebral structures. All babies have been transferred to children's hospital for treatment where the rehabilitation was carried out during 1-2,5 months. Infantile cerebral paralysis, hydrocephaly, epilepsy, epileptoid attacks were detected in 8 babies on the first year of life (29,6%). 5 babies (18,5%) had atrophy of discs of optic nerves, retinal angiopathy. All babies with local pathology of the central nervous system were premature born on the 26-32 week. Majority has herniae of different localization (55,5%), congenital dysplasia of the hip joint (74%), 26 babies (96,2%) were on the books because of anaemiae, pneumoniae, bronchites, pyelonephrites, septicaemiae. Using the received data we can draw a conclusion: in order to reduce perinatal complications in the maternal organism, in the organism of newborn baby and baby on the first year of life it is necessary to sanify the birth canal, to do preclinical diagnostics and preventive therapy of the prematurely born, gestosis, fetoplacental insufficiency.

MODERN ASPECTS OF INTERCELLULAR INTERACTIONS AND THEIR ROLE IN GENESIS OF TUBULOINTERSTICIAL NEPHROPATHIES

Year: 2007, volume 3 Issue: №3 Pages: 44-49
Heading: Physiology and Pathophysiology Article type: Review
Authors: I.A. Utts, N.B. Zaharova, M.L. Kostinа
Organization: Saratov State Medical University
Summary:

Nowadays the researchers become more interested in the mechanisms of the intercellular interactions and imbalance of the chemical reactions as the bases of development of any disease. According to the laws of the general pathology, after insulting (mechanically or infectiously) cells produce a complex of vasoactive, inflammatory and anti-inflammatory, prosclerous, apoptosis mediators - cytokines. Numerous researches are devoted to studying of the pathogenetic role of these messengers in the mechanisms of the damage of tubules and interstices, in development and progressing of proliferative processes in the tubulointersticial tissues. The results of these works allow to understand the pathogenesis of tubulointersticial nephropathies from the modern point of view, to determine the basic mechanisms of realization of pathological influence and progressing of changes in the tubulointersticial tissues. This knowledge enables to use cytokines and factors of growth as the early markers of inflammatory as well as fibrotical processes in the damaged tubulointersticial tissues which are especially important with children's nephropathies.
